From Vine to Glass Series - Part 3 The Winery Tasting
Once the harvest has finished the farmers can rest and it is time for the winemakers and winery crew to start work. The grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible to avoid bacteria growth and oxidation, ready for pressing. It is in the winery where human intervention happens to enhance what nature has produced. It is here where a wine's personality, the philosophy of the winemaker and how a wine stands out from the crowd makes its mark. If you wish to know more and discover what happens inside a winery and the practices that help produce the finished product then come and join us for this tasting. This is an opportunity to learn, have fun and taste some of our delicious wines.
