Produced in one of the last archaic vineyards of Langa, an open-air museum of viticulture of the past, over 100 years old, the grapes derive from plants without grafting and propagated by cuttings, which therefore have kept intact over the decades all the original characteristics of Barbera. The vineyard, with excellent exposure and sandy-calcareous soils, located in the Berri hamlet of La Morra, guarantees the natural protection of the vines from the attack of the Phylloxera and gives the product an exclusive and unique look, which mixes with intriguing simplicity the most typical suggestions of the vine with the characteristics given by a particularly favorable microclimate and altitude. The very low production per hectare guarantees an organoleptic concentration of rare intensity and richness, for a wine that is aged in oak barrels suitable for the slow development of primary aromas. Pleasant and refined, complex even if tasted young, it is a product that does not fear aging in the bottle, expressing its concrete uniqueness even after many years.
