The essence of Vertigo , expressed by traditional varieties such as Merlot and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso , and international cultivars such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc , represents the beauty of Friuli Venezia Giulia in its diversity .The grapes are delicately de-stemmed and then subjected to pressing. Fermentation follows with maceration of the skins at a controlled temperature, in stainless steel containers. The aging takes place in steel and small French oak barrels. Once bottled, the wine rests in thermo-conditioned rooms for aging.
