Made from an indigenous grape variety from the Alto Adige. The wine boasts a beautiful bouquet of violets and blackberries with hints of cherries and subtle earthy notes. Velvety textured on the palate with raspberry, dark cherry, dark chocolate, liquorice and spice underpinned by a powerful structure and a long finish.

Specification

At Cantina Tramin the vineyards are cared for by the many hands of the 300 small growers whose heritage it is to coax the best out of their grapes, culminating in wines which reflect the uniqueness of the area. The vines for this wine are trained according to Pergola and Guyot systems on southwestern facing slopes. They yield 75 hectolitres per hectare. The vineyard soil is made up of clay, calcareous gravel and sand.
