Blair Athol 13 Year Old 2011 #5 is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky bottled by Signatory, matured in a first-fill ruby Port hogshead for the full 13 years. Distilled on 30 September 2011 and bottled on 2 May 2025 at a robust 56.9% ABV, this expression showcases rich red fruit, warming spice and a winey depth that complements Blair Athol’s malty character. The nose reveals black cherries, fruit preserves, hazelnut brittle and ginger. The palate follows with port-soaked sponge cake, strawberry jam, candied orange peel and dark chocolate. The finish is silky and spiced, with nutmeg, redcurrant tartness and toasted oak.
