Specification

Vin Santo del Chianti 2016 Montepescini 37.5cl

This Vin Santo del Chianti is primarily made from Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes. After the grapes are harvested, they are dried and the wine slowly ferments in small barrels, ageing for several years. It has a golden or amber colour, an intense aroma of dried fruit, honey and spices, and a sweet but balanced flavour with good acidity. It pairs perfectly with the traditional Cantucci biscotti but also with mature or blue cheeses.

Tuscan biscuits par excellence, Cantucci are appreciated worldwide. Synonymous of good Tuscan cuisine, they are traditionally dipped into a glass of Vin Santo or other fortified wines. The process is carried out by hand respecting the old rules that guarantee the best quality. Crisp and light with a delicate taste, they are perfect for finishing the meal with sweetness. Delicious with tea, milk, cappuccino or coffee.
