Vecchia Romagna Riserva Tre Botti is known for its unique "three-barrel" aging process. The name refers to the three distinct types of casks used during maturation, each contributing specific characteristics to the final blend: Small French Oak Barriques (structure and character), Large Slavonian Oak Casks (give soft, smooth, and velvety texture), Italian Red Wine Tonneaux (add fruity notes and a complex finish). The bouquet is rich with toasted hazelnuts, cinnamon, tropical fruits, and vanilla. Smooth and well-balanced on the pallet with layers of caramel, cloves, and dried apricot. Long-lasting finish imparts dark chocolate and a hint of spice.
