Sambuca Buton was born in 1820 in Bologna, stemming from the distilling expertise of the Buton Distillery. It is a premium Italian Sambuca with a rich, harmonious, and balanced aromatic profile. For over 200 years, it has remained faithful to the original recipe, characterized by a complex formula derived from the masterful blending of two key aromatic herbs—Star Anise (Illicium verum) and Green Anise (Pimpinella anisum)—along with nine other herbs, including Cardamom, Sweet Orange, Ginger, Vanilla, and Cinnamon. Its fresh and balsamic sensory profile, extremely sophisticated both on the nose and palate, makes Sambuca Buton perfect to enjoy neat, well chilled, with or without the traditional coffee bean garnish.
