A rich and sumptuous blend of Sangiovese and Merlot, with a touch of Syrah and Petit Verdot. Its rich flavour bursting with ripe dark berry fruits plus a hint of vanilla from the ageing process: half the production matured for 12 months in new and first-fill French barriques and the other half matured in s/s and cement tanks. After which, the wine is allowed to settle in bottle for several months to allow the long tannins to soften and the fruit to develop greater concentration, length and lusciousness.
