The fruit for this wine comes from a small site of just under one hectare in Monforte d'Alba, This Cru is among the most sensational in Monforte d'Alba. It has a strong Fruity character with touches of mint and eucalyptus that evolve into ripe fruit such as blackberries, plums and jams followed by hints of chocolate and leather. The taste is rich, complex and powerful, with fine tannins, elegant and of interminable persistence.

Specification

The Conterno Fantino winery was founded in 1982 by Claudio Conterno and Guido Fantino. Today they cultivate 27 hectares of vineyards and produce around 140,000 bottles per year. Environmental sustainability, preservation of biodiversity, respect for the land and its heritage are the guiding principles of their vineyards, which are organically farmed and certified by the CCPB.
