Ca'Rugate is a family business, now run by the fourth generation, which has been awarded multiple times with the prestigious 'Tre Bicchieri' rating from Gambero Rosso. The estate, based in Montecchia di Crosara in the Soave Classico zone near Verona, was renamed Ca'Rugate in 1986, taking its name from the volcanic hills where the vineyards are located. From their estate in Valpolicella this wine has concentrated aromas of red fruits, ripe blackberry and deep cherry flavours, with floral notes and a hint of spice. Supple on the palate with a velvety texture. It is ideal with roast chicken, white meats and hard cheeses.
