Tastings and Demonstrations
This year we have many events including plenty of the usual wine tastings, cookery demonstrations, fungi forays and free in-store tastings. Ticket availability is noted for each event. Some will sell out well in advance of the date, particularly the Fungi Forays - we advise booking early. Dates and prices for events shown below may be subject to change.

Tutored walk and picnic
Saturday 5th September, 7.30am - 3pm | £48 including coach travel and light lunch, or £45 per person when you buy two or more tickets|Buy tickets
Tutored expedition, this year led by Professor Roy Watling's esteemed colleague Neville Kilkenny, with Professor Roy Watling in attendance. Travel by coach to a secret location chosen by Professor Watling as an area likely to supply a wide range of fungi. After a foray during the morning a light packed lunch of food and wine from Valvona & Crolla will be provided. Neville Kilkenny and Prof. Watling will then identify any mushrooms found and will entertain and educate with a fascinating talk about the joys and dangers of wild fungi. Depending on weather, the coach will return to Valvona & Crolla between 2pm and 3pm. Sturdy walking shoes and waterproof clothing are essential. Don't forget a basket for your mushrooms!
